Saint Germain Jazz Festival

This is the 14th year of this popular festival.

They will be holding concerts around the 1st, 5th and 6th Arrondissement in various locations, like Saint Sulpice Church, Saint Germain des Pres church, hotels, cafes and the university.

Versailles Festival

This is the perfect festival for all lovers of Baroque music.  The best musicians of this genre will be getting together to perform in the stunning setting of a Boroque Chateau.

A Festival de Saint Denis

This classical music festival will be held just outside of Paris in the beautiful  Basilique Cathedrale de Saint Denis and the pretty church of Legion d’Honneur.

It will show case an array of beautiful orchestral music by Vivaldi, Mozart, Bach and others.

We Love Green

For a great day out for all the family there will be lots of fun to be had at this music festival set in a really pretty location on the outskirts of Paris ( Parc de Bagatelle is a part of the Bois du Bologne). There will be loads of organic food and a great  mix of pop, indie and rock music with Cat Power, London Grammar, Lorde and Foals headlining.

Villette Sonique

This event will be in Parc de Villete in the 19th Arrondissement. Some of it outside in their parks and some of it inside in their venue Caberet Sauvage, which has a great atmosphere.  There will be a mix of electro dance music – the perfect place to get your dancing shoes on!

Ferté Jazz

This 3rd edition of the festival will have bluesman Lucky Peterson as the headliner.  He has recently released a great funk and soul album called The Son of a Bluesman. The saxophonist Wayne Shorter (who used to tour with Miles Davis) will also be joining the fun.

Weather Festival

Electro fans will be excited about the return of this festival, which will be held just outside of Paris in the Parc des Expositions du Bourget.  You will get to see DJs Ricardo Villalobos, Derick May, Ben Klock amongst others and there will also be plenty of dance performances to keep you entertained.

Les Musicales de Bagatelle

Started in 2011 by the harpist Marielle Nordmann this classical music festival features well-known established musicians within a blend of unknown new comers. Set in the orangery of Bagatelle Park, the festival offers  a series of 5 concerts spread over the long weekend.

Festival Ta Parole

This festival held in the Eastern suburbs of Paris in a variety of cafes and theatres has a great tradition of not promoting well know headliners.  It invites you to come and discover new names, new songs and new bands.  The organisers have spent a lot of time searching out and revisiting the artists so that they can have confidence in their material and performance skills.

Paris Jazz Festival

This festival will be held in the pretty Le Parc Floral de Vincennes and attracts a number of  ‘Greats’ among them will be  singer, Atlanta Cody Chesnutt and saxophonist Manu Dibango.

Bains Numeriques #8

This festival is a combination of visual arts, workshops, exhibitions and music that will explore what is described as ‘the digital city.

Set around a lake, in Enghien-les-Bains, it will have performing arts, dance, films as well as DJs who will be playing electro music with lights and fantastic staging.
