Top 10 Terraces in Paris
The sun is out and, Paris has the buzzy, excitable vibe it gets in the warmer months. What I love about France is that, unlike my mother country, it doesn’t have the strict regulations you’ll often find in the UK – most cafes have squeezed a table and chair somewhere on a pavement outside and claimed it as their al fresco dining area taking advantage of the glorious weather we’ve been having.
Now to make sure you find the best spot for taking in some rays while sipping on your rosé, I’ve compiled a list of our favourite sunny spots.

This is a popular terrace that gets sun all afternoon – another fantastic people watching location. Positioned right next door to Le Bon Marche, the Café clientele are oozing glamour and so are the people walking past. It’s a great venue to catch up on the latest Paris trends – to get an eye for how to wear that navy jacket, repetto pumps and sunglasses in a way that’s effortlessly cool.
Almost a victim of its own success, this bar is incredibly popular and you will need to get there early if you want to nab a seat – but its full for a reason. Set on a roof terrace, it has the most awesome views over the rooftops and it’s a great vantage point for seeing some of Paris’ most famous monuments.
